Listed as a Historic Monument, the Saint-Pierre du Plantay church, in Ain, is a fine example of Romanesque architecture. Open to the public on request at the town hall, it reveals a chapel covered in painted frescoes.
Visitors to the Saint-Pierre du Plantay church can also admire a pretty 15th century fresco representing the Last Judgment surmounted by Saint Luke painting the Virgin surrounded by angels.
Completely restored in the 19th century, the church has a bell tower from 1830.
