Le Pla

The small church of Pla, white, reveals an architecture characteristic of this region of the Pyrenees and deserves to be dwelled a few moments. In the village, you can also see a stele set up at the Laurenti refuge, which pays tribute to the Resistance.

Not far from here, between 1,500 and 2,000 meters above sea level, the sportiest will enjoy the proximity to the ski resort of Mijanès-Donezan, opened in the 1960s. Familiar, it attracts more and more Lovers of nature and authenticity with its small size. It is a snow-covered site where you can practice cross-country skiing, cross-country skiing, sledding or snowshoeing.

Several marked hiking trails surround the village of Pla and allow to appreciate the local fauna and flora.

In early August, the village offers a beer festival with entertainment.

In mid-August, the Talents du Donezan will allow you to perform on stage to demonstrate your artistic skills.

A party with concerts and entertainment is offered every August 15th. For the occasion, a volleyball tournament and a meal are also organized.
