Le Corbier is a winter sports resort located in Villarembert, in the Savoie region Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, 14 km south-west of Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne by road.
Le Corbier is part of the so-called 3rd generation stations, with buildings located at the foot of the slopes and lifts so that the traffic and the spaces reserved for pedestrians and skiers are perfectly distinct.
It was inaugurated in the winter of 1967 and enlarged in the following years. Renowned for its family atmosphere, the resort owes its name to Mount Corbier (2265 m above sea level) at the foot of which it was built, in the Arvan-Villards massif and on the Sybelles area which it integrated at the beginning. of the 2000s.

In the summer season, holidaymakers can explore the preserved natural environment with protected flora and fauna via numerous hiking trails of varying difficulty. Most of the circuits are dotted with splendid panoramas on the massif. Part of the routes are accessible to mountain bikers.
