Small village of Seine-Maritime between Dieppe and Saint-Valery-en-Caux, on the Alabaster Coast, Le Bourg-Dun, takes place in the heart of the Pays de Caux, seventy kilometers from Rouen, former capital of the Haute- Normandy.
Created after the 10th century, despite the presence of some houses in the Gallo-Roman era, the city of Bourg-Dun was English during part of the 15th century. Prospered from this time, the village then suffered Protestant looting in the sixteenth century during the wars of religion.
