Village of the heart of the Cevennes, on the Silk Road, Lasalle takes place in the Gard, about sixty kilometers from Nimes and its arena. It is located on the banks of the Salindrenque, in the Val d'Emeraude.
Lasalle was born in the 11th century with the creation of a monastery by Benedictine monks. Converted to Protestantism in the late seventeenth century, the village has hosted the first meetings of the Desert. But it is later that he illustrates himself, thanks to his silk mills testifying to the economic wealth of this city of the Cevennes.
Always appreciated by passing visitors, the town of Lasalle unveils in particular an important architectural heritage, but also natural, which bring him all its charm and its calm.
