The Notre-Dame-des-Pommiers is located Largentière, in Ardeche, 18 km southwest of Aubenas.
It was built from the late twelfth century, next to a round tower that belonged to the city walls.
The nave has a Romanesque evidenced columns crowned with capitals, the chorus of natural light through arched windows and external buttresses.
Over time and influences the church is altered or completed by chapels (XV and XVI) and nineteenth yet, additions are made.
The square bell tower overcomes to share a chapel seventeenth.
On the ornamental plane, one notices at the south porch where two friezes are represented scenes and religious themes (the Annunciation, Angelus)...
And inside the building protected as historical monuments are preserved a sarcophagus of the thirteenth century, a large wooden crucifix and beautiful gates of the fourteenth, fifteenth a chair, a wooden statue of Our Lady of walnut (reproduction of a Madonna and child disappeared during the wars of Religion) and a painting of the Assumption of the seventeenth.
Finally distinguished murals of the early nineteenth century was partly covered since.
