Common Breton, Langueux takes place in the department of Côtes-d'Armor, the limits of the city of Saint-Brieuc. It is notably bordered by the bay of Saint-Brieuc, the Channel Sea, as well as the city of Yffiniac.
Very old city, Langueux was created in the fifth century by Guethenoc, the son of Fragan, former head of Brittany insular came to settle in Brittany Armorican. Enjoying a temperate climate, the city started in the nineteenth century in market gardening, specializing in the cultivation of carrots, cabbages and other onions. At the same time, Langueux develops its saltworks in the bay of Saint-Brieuc.
Today, the city is mainly known for its tourist activity and its many sites to discover the time of a stay in the region.
