Town Hautes-Pyrenees region in Occitan, Laloubère takes place just a few kilometers from Tarbes, in the Pyrenean foothills. It lies at the heart of Bigorre, near Momères, Salles-Adour and Aureilhan.
That which was once called Loupbatère or country of wolves, takes its name from the strong invasion of wolves she knew the eleventh and the twelfth century. She had a turbulent history over the centuries, especially during the religious wars in the second half of the sixteenth century with the destruction caused by the Protestant troops.
Today, the city is experiencing a more peaceful history, attracting visitors passing through the region by its geographical proximity to some of the most tourist cities of the sector, as well as its charming architectural and historical heritage.
