Lablachère

Church of the nineteenth century, Our Lady of Bon Secours was built between 1829 and 1855 on the remains of an old chapel of pilgrimage of the sixteenth century. In 1930, it rose to the rank of minor basilica and remains a high place of pilgrimage. Inside, it is possible to discover several objects listed as Historical Monuments, like a statue of Virgin and Child in carved wood from the late seventeenth century, or an Entombment, canvas dating from the same era.

While strolling in the commune, it is also possible to discover the Saint-Julien church, or the castle of Saumès. Important square building that served as a religious school, it reveals a beautiful door to the coat of arms of the family of Chanaleilles.

Entirely in dry stones, the megalithic bridge of the hamlet of Prieuré is mainly used in October, November and April, during periods of heavy rains. It has an architecture close to that of dolmens of the region that can be admired around Lablachère.

To enjoy the fauna and flora, and do some hiking with family or friends, head for the forest of Beauzon and its path of muleteers, or the Gras plateau, limestone stretch classified natural area of ​​ecological interest, wildlife and floristic.

The market is held every Sunday morning.

A carnival is organized in March with a parade of floats.

A party is held on Sunday after July 14 with fireworks and musical entertainment.
