La Salvetat-Peyralès is a small town located in the department of Aveyron. It is part of the Community of Communes' Viaur Aveyron Ségala "(also composed of Rieupeyroux, Prévinquières, Tayrac, La Capelle-Bleys and Lescure-Jaoul).
Situated between Albi and Rouergue, on the road to Carmaux in Rieupeyroux, La Salvetat is a sauveté could be a creation of Rieupeyroux priory dating from the twelfth century. A modern church was built late nineteenth century on the site of a Romanesque church in the fortified tower.
