Situated geographically on the edge of Lathan in the canton of Noyant, La Pellerine is a small town where the village is staggered on both sides of a hill with rather steep slopes and from which one enjoys a very extensive view of the forests Of Touraine and the Loire Valley.

La Pellerine experienced prosperity at the time when the dairy of Echallerie was the main activity. This one was created in 1900, then transformed into a cooperative in 1912, and closed in 1973.
