La Haye-Bellefond is the smallest municipality in the canton of Percy. It has 282 ha to about 80 people.
This area was the stronghold of the family in The Hague until 1619, when the family bought Bellefonds. In 1620, the parish was called The Hague Hue took the name of The Hague Bellefonds.
This family born Bernardin Gigault Bellefonds who became Marshal of France (1630-1694).
