La Crèche

To replace a building dismantled during the French Revolution, the Church of Our Lady of the Snows was built in the mid-nineteenth century. It remains popular with lovers of religious buildings for its 1879 organ that was recently completely restored. Nearby, you can discover the chaplaincy of the fifteenth century which was used to welcome the pilgrims of Saint Jacques de Compostela. Although sold as a National in the late eighteenth century, it serves as a private home today.

Walking through the city, you can also explore the castle Bougouin, originally of the thirteenth century and rebuilt in the nineteenth. Be sure not to let your feet guide you to the ancient castle of misery now rehabilitated housing. Many laundries are also visible in the different spaces of La Crèche.

Created in 2003 in the ancient castle of the Vault, the Hunting Museum to discover the heritage of hunting from prehistory to today. One can discover the evolution of different hunting techniques through a hundred authentic objects.
