The Grimaudière leisure center is located on the town of La Chapelle-sur-Erdre, north of Nantes which it borders.
It adjoins the course of the Erdre which flows into the Loire a few kilometers downstream.
In a green setting, where the tributary is wide and forms a body of water, it is mainly dedicated to sailing. The Anchor Club established its nautical base there in 1965 and has built a port with pontoons, a technical room and hangars.
You can learn how to sail from a very young age but also rent boats from the club for cruises.

A hiking trail 2.5 km along the banks of the green Erdre was built nearby, accessible to people with reduced mobility. Picnic areas line the path from where you can see the Gascherie Castle and the Manoir de la Gandonnière.
