The resort of Collet d'Allevard is located in Isere, and its ski area extends over the municipalities of Allevard, Allevard-les-Bains and La Chapelle-du-Bard, 34 km south-east of Chambery and 44 km north-east from Grenoble.
Created in 1955 and having reached its current size in 1975, the family resort is at 1450 m above sea level, the tracks being traced on pastures dedicated to the summer pastures.
The estate is divided into four geographical areas: Malatrait (from 1450 to 1750 m altitude), Fontaineterre (1500 to 1750 m), Prérond (from 1550 to 2000 m) and Super Collet (1550 to 2100 m).
Eleven lifts serve 28 downhill ski runs (3 black, 10 red, 8 blue, 7 green), for a total of 35 km downhill. Spaces are also devolved to the new slides (funpark, border cross) and areas are also dedicated to very young children.
The resort is renowned for offering thrill seekers eight tracks with night lighting, and every year, a "night of skiing" is organized on December 30th.
