Located in Occitania, in the department of Haute-Garonne, the city of L'Union takes place in the urban area of ​​Toulouse. Watered by the Sausse and Seillonne, it is not far from Balma and Launaguet.

Former village, the town of L'Union was illustrated in the early nineteenth century with the retreat of Spain Napoleonic troops. It was particularly the theater of hard fights between the troops of Marshal Empire Soult and those of the Duke of Wellington launched in their pursuit.

Things to see and do

Walking through L'Union, you will discover the church of St. John the Baptist and its remarkable architecture of the nineteenth century, and a thousand-year-old olive tree from Huesca in Spain.
