Location inescapable: The Roseraie du Val-de-Marne, the oldest rose garden in the world. Created by Jules Gravereaux in 1894 and now has nearly 3200 varieties spread over 16,000 feet. Jules Gravereaux Cochet-Cochet and are particularly responsible for obtaining the Rose Roseraie de L'Hay "and" Rose perfume L'Hay ". Indeed, at the time of the creation of these roses, the town is still called "The Hay" and that in 1919 it became "L'Haÿ-les-Roses" ... Now owned by the General Council, the Rose Garden is named Roseraie du Val-de-Marne.
