Justian is a small village of Gers of a hundred inhabitants located on the Osse Valley, a peaceful river that takes its source in the Pyrenean foothills and joins the Gélise Nérac. Two old water mills are present, including one of the thirteenth century. A mound castrale testifies to the existence of an old feudal castle destroyed by the troops of the Earl of Montgomery during the Wars of Religions. Essentially agricultural, the town extends on the hills of the right bank of the Osse, offering beautiful views of the surrounding countryside and the Pyrenees.
Hiking trails take the old rural paths, to the surrounding villages of Roques, beautiful hilltop village and its belvedere overlooking the valley, Lagardère and its Gascon castle of the same name, Bezolles, village-street and its former walkway, its fortified tower and its old washhouse.
