The original church, dating from the thirteenth century, was burnt down in 1426 during the Hundred Years War, and the current building was rebuilt in the 16th century in the Renaissance style. The gate, double door, flamboyant Gothic style is elegant. The polygonal choir is from the Renaissance period. The whole of the church is vaulted on crossed ogives.
This building was classified as a Historic Monument in 1908. The total restoration of the roof, initiated in 2004, was rewarded with the "Fondation du Patrimoine", a recognized association of public utility, on November 23, 2011 in the framework of the fair Mayors and local authorities.
The church is usually not open, having previously suffered robberies and damage. However, if the sisters who live in the presbytery attached to the church are available, they sometimes agree to open it.
