Small mountain village located in Savoie, Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, Jarsy takes place in the Bauges massif, in the heart of the Regional Natural Park of the Massif des Bauges. Installed above the glacial valley of Bauges Front, it is located about fifty kilometers from Chambéry, near Bellecombe-en-Bauges.
Place of entrenchment Saracens in the tenth century, Jarsy is also known to have been one of the first places in the Bauges where the monks of the abbey of Hautecombe have created a field. Mainly oriented towards tourism, the village does not less than an important gastronomic activity, notably forming part of the production area of the AOP Tome des Bauges.
