Located in the heart of the forest of Orleans, the arboretum of Grandes Bruyères extends over fourteen hectares. It takes place on the town of Ingrannes, in the Loiret, and enjoys the label Jardin Remarquable for the quality of its facilities and the beauty of its flora. Classified Voluntary Nature Reserve at the end of the 1970s, it opened to the public in 1991.
Dedicated to the biodiversity of the world, the arboretum of the Grandes Bruyères unveils to its visitors nearly 7,000 trees, some species, very rare, have disappeared from their countries of origin. Ecological park and haven of greenery, it is maintained without chemicals to preserve the planet and ensure healthy plants.
As you wander through this magical place, you will discover beautiful pink, white or mauve heather carpets that have given the park its name, and you can relax in the Zen garden with its elegant lily pad. Do not miss to admire the old oak of the arboretum, it has recently been awarded the Arbre Remarquable label.

Open from March to the beginning of November, seven days a week, the arboretum des Grandes Bruyères can be discovered on a free or guided visit, accompanied by an expert in botany.
