Town of Eure-et-Loir, in the Center region - the Loire Valley, Illiers-Combray takes place about twenty kilometers from Chartres and its famous cathedral, between the plains of the Beauce and Perche. It is located near Brou, Nogent-le-Rotrou or Bonneval, on the banks of the Loir.
