Located in the municipality of Heiligenstein, in the department of Bas-Rhin, Castle Landsberg is a building of the beginning of the thirteenth century now listed Historical Monument. Formerly intended to defend the abbeys of Hohenbourg, Niedermunster, Truttenhausen and Andlau, it now has only ruins.
It is still possible to admire during a walk the high-castle with its square dungeon and its Romanesque palace with an oriel in front. The house is flanked by flanking towers.
The whole is now accessible for free visit.
