Golf des Pins is located at Hardelot-Plage, a seaside resort on the Côte d'Opale, in the Pas-de-Calais, 15 km south of Boulogne-sur-Mer.
It was created in 1906 by the Duke of Argyll, brother-in-law of King Edward VII of England, and was quickly appreciated by many golfers in Northern Europe. From the early 1930s, the golf course was refitted according to plans by British architect Tom Simpson. The layout has not changed since. The course is 5877 meters long: it is a "par 72" whose specialists consider that it is typical of the British style... In the heart of a forest of maritime pines, it requires competitors address and precision. This renowned golf has hosted many international competitions.
In 1991, next to the golf course of the Pines, was developed the golf of the Dunes, which presents a more modern course and fits fully in the coastal environment, with parts of water, mounds dunes and some wooded parcels. It is a "par 69" designed by the Belgian architect Paul Rollin.
Of course, at the edge of this unique ensemble, there are covered or open-air practice stations (on lawn), a putting green area and a pitching green.
Open all year. Price: from 55 to 85 euros the course according to the season. Information on +33 3 21 83 73 10.
