Tower of Eygliers

Monument in Guillestre

Fortified building in the town of Guillestre, in the Hautes-Alpes, the tower of Eygliers is today the subject of an inscription in the Historic Monuments. Originally at the end of the 14th century, it underwent several transformations in the 15th, then in the 17th century, then taking on its current appearance.

It represents one of the vestiges of the old medieval ramparts of the city.
