Gruffy

Placed under the patronage of Saint Pierre aux Liens, the communal church is a beautiful neogothic building rebuilt in the late nineteenth century. Not far, it is also possible to admire the remains of the old castle of the city, through some towers still standing.

The Natural History Museum is an opportunity to discover hundreds of naturalized, domestic and wild animals. These specimens represent the fauna of the different biotopes of Haute-Savoie. The latter is open from February to November.

Built at the end of the 19th century, the bridge of the Abîme takes place above a gorge ninety-five meters deep.

While strolling in the heart of the village, you will also be able to discover the 130 basins and fountains, a charming bandstand, the grotto of the scrub or a fruit tree visitable on request.

But Gruffy, it is also a natural heritage to discover the time of hiking marked and secure. The Regional Natural Park of the Bauges massif is home to a great diversity of flora and fauna. It is for example possible to visit the museum of nature to better understand this rich territory.

The town also houses a conservatory orchard with apple trees and pear trees sector.

Several garage sales are organized in the year.

In April, spot strides Gruffy with its trail discovery of 14 km, hiking, running 10.5 km or races children.

Every third Sunday of October, the town offers its great Autumn Festival highlighting the gastronomic heritage, local crafts and natural heritage.
