The Planetary shows the sun and its planets inside a double circular band 9 m in diameter. By a set of rods and pinions, the movements as close as possible to reality. A mobile crest on one of the two bands indicates the date and the day. A clock with two counter-rotating dials completes the installation and indicates solar time, legal time, day length and the phases of the moon.
The Planetary can be visited on request for school groups or not, it is open occasionally during local events, free entry.
