A small town in Occitania, Gratentour takes place in the heart of Haute-Garonne, only about fifteen kilometers from Toulouse, the famous Pink City. It takes place not far from Castelginest, Bruguières or Labastide-Saint-Sernin.
Quoted from the 11th century, the town was certainly fortified in its origins, as evidenced by the current Place du Fort. Mainly agricultural, Gratentour was particularly known until the middle of the 20th century for its wine-growing activity. After the Second World War, the town became a haven of peace for Toulouse residents who came here to enjoy the benefits of the countryside.
