Things to see and do

Built in the twelfth century, Notre Dame has still many vestiges of its original Romanesque architecture although it has undergone several campaigns transformations over the centuries. It reveals in particular visitors a nave of the late twelfth century, a chorus of the thirteenth, a north chapel of the sixteenth and enlarged sacristy in the late 1920s most of the steeple of thirty meters high nineteenth century, you admire many pieces of furniture classified or listed in the inventory of Historical Monuments.

Building of the seventeenth century, the castle of Dramard sits on top of the path Rouges-Terres. Fully stone, this non-publicly accessible private property consists of a central body flanked by two wings.

Former property of the family of Charlotte Corday, the manor of Angerville is now listed historic monument for its facades, roofing, chimney painted decoration on the ground floor or the upstairs bedrooms. This private property is not publicly available.

As you walk along in the center, you will also appreciate the many half-timbered houses still present and elegantly restored.

To enjoy sunny days, you can take the direction of the Black Cows cliffs or explore the many marked hiking trails present in the city or its surroundings. At the starting point of most of them have been installed a hall and games for children. A public beach is also on hand to enjoy the views or take walks by the sea.
