The aerodrome Glisy Amiens in the Somme, is located in the municipality of Glisy, east of the capital of Picardy.
This infrastructure is managed since 2008 by the Amiens Métropole urban community that has invested so in the renovation of the main runway. It is coated and 1300 m long. The airport also has a grass runway of 900 meters and a night marking.
Several associations are based on the airfield as the flying club of Picardy which particularly offers first flights and flight training (light aircraft, microlights, gliders...). Information at March 22 38 10 70. There is also a skydiving club: Contact 06 84 May 20 05.
Note that if only small private planes and clubs devices use to time the airfield, an extension of the paved runway (1300 to 1900 m) could afford to host commercial lines served by type of aircraft Airbus and Boeing if a request was emerging.
