Germ

With its ski resort and its various attractions, Germ is a pleasant village and full of interest.

Peyragudes ski resort is the main tourist attraction of the village Germ. Situated near the Col de Peyresourde, she is a member of the New Pyrenees chain and was reunited with the Peyresourde and Agudes stations in 1988. The ski resort is home to about fifty ski slopes, mostly blue and red and baby slopes and ski lifts and chair lifts for beginners. Peyragudes Fun also has a cross track, two freestyle areas, a boardercross and N'PY MOOV areas. In summer it is also possible to learn cycling, longboard, tobogganing or hiking in the mountains.

The Church of the Invention de Saint-Etienne de Germ is a Romanesque building dating from the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries. In the northern chapel, you can admire a beautiful altarpiece of the sixteenth century listed historical monument as protected movable object. The master altarpiece was also classified and has three beautiful carved wood reliefs and gilded with gold leaf.

A little further in the village, the chapel of Our Lady of the Seven Sorrows of Germ not lacking more interest and has a typical mountain architecture.
