• Hydroelectric power plant :

• The largest hydroelectric plant Hautes-Pyrenees has seen his yards last from 1947 to 1953 in the municipality of Gèdre. National Technical example of water recovery, real technical feat, Pragnères includes 40 km of galleries, 4 dams including the Cap de Long, near Néouvielle which is the largest in the Pyrenees, a production plant and two pumping stations. The plant is intended to supply electricity at peak hours.

• Mills Gèdre-Dessus:

• These mills are the testimony of an ancestral activity in harmony with the environment. Guarantors of authenticity rural and mountain, they discover the Gèdre-Dessus district at Dera mold, over the river of Campbieil. Five in number, they belong to different families of the village. They were still used in the 1970s and one of them even turned to 1985.

• 350 m² of climbable surface over 18 m tall, numerous routes to suit all levels.
• From July 10 to August 20: open daily from 9am to 19pm. Tuesday until 21h. The rest of the year: Open Monday to Saturday from 9am to 12pm and from 14pm to 18pm. Tuesday until 21h.
• Access autonomy, with its own equipment, for experienced people. On site, ropes and slings only. No rental equipment (possibility to rent in the sports shops on Gavarnie).
