The Chapel of Amareins is a monument in the municipality of Francheleins (Ain, Auvergne-Rhône-Alps). It is an attraction for holidaymakers staying in the region.
Nestled in lush greenery on the banks of the Appéum, this 11th century Romanesque chapel depended in the early 12th century the abbey of Chaise-Dieu. Today, it is included in the supplementary inventory of historic monuments. Restored in 1960, it retains a certain charm.
