Located in the municipality of Fragnes-La Loyère in Saône-et-Loire, the castle of La Loyère is an ancient medieval building completely reworked in the nineteenth century. This site main building U and flanked by square towers in particular welcomed a Benedictine community in the late 1940s before becoming the property of the city of Chalon-sur-Saône in 1960.
Equipped with fifty-four rooms, it now serves as a recreation center that offers during the holidays different cultural or sporting events.
