The Great Beach of Fos-sur-Mer, on the Mediterranean coast of Bouches-du-Rhône, is located on the east of the town, near the marina, and faces the town of Port de Bouc.
It is 400 m long and covered with fine sand. Equipment has been installed for children (playground, swings, rope pyramid). Bordered by a wooden driveway with restaurants, it has a first aid station (supervised swimming in summer). The Grande Plage is also labeled "Tourism and Disability" since specific facilities allow people with reduced mobility to enjoy the site. Like the other beaches of Fos-sur-Mer, the quality of the bathing water and its eco-friendly equipment allow it to sport the "Blue Flag".
Finally, a pedal boat rental point is open in summer.
