The Museum of Art, history and archeology of this rich own collections to satisfy the tastes and the most diverse interests.
Archaeology, with several major pieces such as the famous bronze statues of Zeus and Apollo, develops next to the Gallo-Roman rampart (3rd c. AD).
The museum has a fine collection on the bishopric of history (medieval and Renaissance goldsmith and sculpture) and presents its decorative arts funds, furniture and painting (Flanders, Holland, Italy, France) in its seventeenth salons, eighteenth and nineteenth century.
The museum of Evreux also maintains an important collection of works from the second half of the twentieth with works by major artists such as Simon Hantaï, Zao Wou- Ki, Pierre Soulages, Hans Hartung particular.
The museum also presents a programming event (conferences and exhibitions).
