Charming little village in the Gard, Estézargues takes place about thirty kilometers from Nîmes and its arenas. The rural town seduces with its authenticity and its proximity to some of the most beautiful towns in the area, like Avignon, famous for its Palais des Papes and its theater festival.
Inhabited since prehistoric times, as evidenced by the flint shards and the fragments of vases found on site, Estézargues has developed since Antiquity. This commune in the south-east of France is mainly known for its wine-growing activity. It is one of the rare cities to see the whole of its territory classified as Côtes du Rhône, or even Côtes du Rhône Villages. It is also part of the Nîmes Olive Oil AOC geographical area.
