Located in the town of Eauze, in the Gers, the Le Trésor archaeological museum allows visitors to admire an exceptional treasure brought to light in the 1980s during archaeological excavations in the area of the city's old train station.
Made up of more than 28,000 coins and some fifty jewels and precious objects dating from the 3rd century, it represents one of the most important ancient treasures found in the country. By browsing the different rooms of the museum, it is possible to discover all the life of the ancient ancient city of Elusa, with in particular statues, architectural decorations or even everyday objects. Temporary thematic exhibitions are also regularly organized there to learn more and more about Antiquity and its mysteries.
