Emblematic of the city, the lighthouse Dunkerque is still today the most northern of the country. Built on the ruins of an old fort Vauban, he was commissioned in the mid-nineteenth century, in the form of a tour of over sixty meters high.
Ranked historic monument, the building, also known lighthouse Risban offers its heights stunning views of the city, the harbor or the Flemish plain. Open to the public, it has a staircase of 276 steps which provides access to a unique panorama.
