Things to see and do

Gallo-Roman site: an impressive Gallo-Roman theater 85 meters in diameter which could accommodate up to 5,000 people, a sanctuary, thermal baths currently covered, a Roman priory from the 11th century as well as the Romanesque church of Saint-Julien (12th century) with its unique clock with a hand. The Maison du Patrimoine regularly hosts exhibitions.

Medieval site: Priory of Drevant from the 11th century, Historic Monument, remarkable Romanesque facade, Cluniac site; labeled European Year of Cultural Heritage.

Annual programming of cultural events combining History-Animation-Artistic exhibition, in the garden.

The visit of the village can be done throughout the year freely with the GuidiGo application with a circuit for adults or one aimed at families. During the tourist season, free guided tours are offered in the afternoons.

The landscapes of the Berry Canal can be discovered on board an electric boat for hire in the village or by bike along the greenway linking Saint-Amand-Montrond to Montluçon.

Events and festivities

Every 2 years, a great pageant of historical reconstruction during the Derventiales weekend in July.
