The village was one of the lordship of the Duke of Lorraine, he owned castles, fortified church, pond lord. To date, all that remains of the church with the chapel on the wall outside the funeral band lords of the place and the broken head of a stone statue of the 16th Century. From the castle, which was placed near the pond, nothing remains except the names of the place "the castle".
