Vindry-sur-Turdine

Built in the fourteenth century, the chapel of the Antonines of Pontcharra-sur-Turdine originally served church to Saint-Loup. Transformed into a granary in the late eighteenth century following the French Revolution, it becomes a place of worship since 1809. It was demolished to be replaced in the middle of the nineteenth century by the current St. Anthony church. As you wander in the small town, you can admire the room of the Commandery and the room of the Turdine.

Built in the nineteenth century, the castle Dareizé is the work of an industrial Tarare. He still proudly in the middle of the Beaujolais vineyards. Other castles are also taking place in the town, like that of Chanzé.

All Public delegates Vindry-sur-Turdine also have a good ranking in the competition of cities and flowered villages of France, which gives them a very pleasant natural setting. Several marked trails allow in particular to appreciate the charm of the city.
