Commune of Occitanie, Cugnaux takes place in the department of Haute-Garonne, in the urban area of Toulouse. Also bordering Plaisance-du-Touch and Tournefeuille, it is populated by more than 16,500 inhabitants.
A rather old town, Cugnaux was illustrated in the 13th century by its conflict with Villeneuve-Tolosane. These two cities have in fact fought a common church for several centuries until the voluntary fire of the latter in the course of the nineteenth century. Today known for its military base, as well as for its agricultural and breeding activity, Cugnaux also attracts many visitors passing through the region.
The Occitan city has indeed a rich architectural heritage testifying to the glorious past of this city to the ancient history.
