Small town of Correze region in New Aquitaine, Cublac takes place about fifty kilometers from Tulle, the limit of the Dordogne. This old mining town is also located near Pazayac, Condat-sur-Vézère and La Dornac.
Developed in the Middle Ages around the church, the town of Cublac began to shine in the late eighteenth century with its coal operations. The latter, a rather limited production, is permanently closed in the early twentieth century, on the eve of the First World War.
Today, the village has preserved its rich architectural heritage while developing a sustainable development policy which notably won two flowers Contest towns and villages in bloom.
