Private house still inhabited and registered with the Historical Monuments, the house of Goix takes place on the commune of Coutarnoux, in the department of Yonne.

Built in the 15th century, it is a former manor of the fiscal prosecutors of the seigniory of Isle. Completely restored, it consists of an octagonal stair tower with a height of eight meters, and is pierced by bays forming arched heel. On the corners of the gable facing directly on the street, one can admire statues of St. James and Mary holding the Child Jesus.
