The Coutances garden already existed in the seventeenth century. In 1852, Jean- Jacques Quesnel- Morinière donated his mansion and garden in the municipality of Coutances, on the sole condition that his property becomes public domain. Today, this space allows residents and visitors to discover many varieties of trees and flowers : the shaft sleeves, tulip tree, copper beeches, etc.
