Saint-Bon-Tarentaise:

Also known as Saint-Bon-Courchevel, the town of Saint-Bon-Tarentaise is in the department of Savoie, in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region. This small mountain village takes place in the Vanoise massif, in Tarentaise, and hosts the winter sports resort of Courchevel, member of the Three Valleys ski area.

Very appreciated, the territory of Saint-Bon-Tarentaise has been labeled Station classified tourism and has a real interest, heritage and sports. It consists of a chief town and four village-stations, Courchevel The Pras, Courchevel Village, Courchevel Moriond and Courchevel. Its altitude ranges from 700 meters to 3051 meters with its highest point, the summit of the Needle of Fruit. Former village of breeding and cheese making, it is in the course of the twentieth century that it becomes a ski resort appreciated and world famous.

Saint-Bon-Tarentaise is today mainly turned to tourism with important hotel infrastructures and many leisure activities of all kinds. Visitors can also admire the remains of an interesting historical heritage typical of this mountain region.

The Perriere:

Former municipality of Savoy, La Perrière merged in early 2017 to form the new municipality of Courchevel. Located near Alberville and Moûtiers, the village has recently been labeled Station classified tourism.

Since the nineteenth century, La Perrière has resolutely turned to tourism, especially through the spa which she made her specialty. In the early 1990s, the Savoyard community also saw the birth of a winter sports resort thanks to the organization of the 1992 Albertville Olympic Games. Connected to the Courchevel station and the 3 Vallées ski area, it also has been labeled Green Station.

Full of charm, the village of La Perrière also has a traditional heritage that attracts many visitors each year.

Saint-Bon-Tarentaise:

Mountainous territory, Saint-Bon-Tarentaise owes its reputation to its sports facilities, as well as its important natural heritage that seduces visitors from around the world.

The ski resort of Courchevel is surely the main tourist attraction of Saint-Bon-Tarentaise. First French station converted into a virgin site in the mid-1940s, it is now part of the 3 Valleys ski area. Known worldwide, the resort enjoys a high-end image and attracts a large number of winter sports enthusiasts. Sometimes nicknamed the Saint-Tropez Snow, it has several labels like Famille Plus Montagne, charming village resort, large estate resorts, mountain adventure and soft mount. Rich in hotel facilities, it still has a certain Savoyard authenticity in some corners of the village. Note that the territory of Saint-Bon-Tarentaise is connected to the mountain resorts via free shuttles.

Listed as a historic monument, the church of Saint-Bon is dedicated to Saint Bonnet de Clermont, former bishop of Clermont in the 6th century. Savoyard Baroque style, it takes place on a first Romanesque church built in the fourteenth century.

Listed in the additional inventory of Historic Monuments also, the chapel Notre-Dame-de-l'Assomption of Courchevel is also labeled Heritage of the twentieth century. The latter was built in the 1950s following the development of the winter sports resort Courchevel.

Saint-Bon-Tarentaise takes place in the National Park of Vanoise. You can admire an important fauna and flora, the park thus contributes to the preservation of ibex in the region. Note that the locality has been labeled flower city and that it has won three flowers in the contest of towns and villages in bloom.

The Perriere:

The ski resort of La Tania is the main tourist attraction of the village of La Perrière. The most recent resort in the 3 Vallées area, it sits between 1,400 and 1,500 meters above sea level, all in a warm family atmosphere. It is nestled in the heart of a large forest, part of which is classified natural area of ​​ecological interest, fauna and flora, and allows accommodation at the foot of the slopes. Labeled Grand Domaine Station, Village Station or Station Station, it offers a completely pedestrian center. Close to the Vanoise National Park, La Tania offers more than 35 km of Nordic ski slopes, and access to Courchevel or Méribel. Snowshoeing and hiking trails are also available, while paragliding, night skiing and hot-air ballooning are also available.

The ski resort of Brides-les-Bains is not lacking either. At the heart of a small spa village, it opens the area of ​​the 3 Valleys. With access to the Méribel slopes, it offers a large spa, day care for children, and ski descents over 2,000 meters of elevation gain.

Built in the early eighteenth century, the church of St. John the Baptist is part of the circuit of the Baroque Paths. You can admire neo-classical side altarpieces.

Every February, Saint-Bon-Tarentaise presents its fireworks festival.

Every November, the community offers its apple party with demonstrations of apple juice making, a garage sale and other activities.

The Perriere:

In the winter season, La Perrière hosts part of the 3 Valleys Enduro, a sports competition taking place on the whole area of ​​the 3 Valleys.

The Charity Day, a day of rally for the fight against cancer, also takes place in the winter period at La Tania station.

On August 15th, the Lumberjack Festival is the big event of La Tania station.

The hiking race of the Bouc Blanc takes place in the summer period.
