Cormot is a village of about 150 inhabitants, located 1 km from Nolay, typical small town of Hautes-Côtes, nestled in the valley between famous vineyards and limestone cliffs. Village of Côte-d'Or, Cormot-le-Grand snuggled deep in a green valley through which flows the Cozanne. On the hillsides, vineyards Hautes-Côtes stretch east and west up steep cliffs.
The limestone cliff Cormot thanks to its south orientation, open all year climbers who sometimes come from afar to go on several routes generally very athletic and all difficulties.
The seasons, orchids and anemones spring and winter hellebores bloom. The boxwoods adorn the many hiking trails. Walkers, mountain bikers, travel magnificent scenery all year.
