Small village of Herault, Lamalou-les-Bains neighbor, Bédarieux and Olargues, Colombières-sur-Orb extends over part of Mount Caroux and the Orb valley. It takes place about ninety kilometers from Montpellier, and is crossed by different mountain streams that give it all its charm.
Colombières-sur-Orb has established itself on a territory inhabited since Prehistory, developing in particular an important castrum during the Middle Ages. Known in the eleventh century for its enchâtel, the village continues today to attract visitors because of its position in the heart of a preserved and unique nature, but also for a traditional architecture rich in old stones.
The town also has a charming historical heritage that reflects its age and wealth.
