The La Bonnelière leisure center is located in the commune of Clessé, in the Deux-Sèvres department, 17 km northwest of Parthenay.
Managed by the municipality, it was developed on the edge of a 5-hectare body of water, to the north-east of the town.
In a truly bucolic setting, there is a fitness trail, games for children, pétanque courts and picnic areas. Note that a large covered courtyard with toilets is set up in case of bad weather.
Swimming and boating are prohibited on the body of water, but it is however available to fishermen on Mondays, Wednesdays, weekends and public holidays. However, a card is required (daily rate: 6 euros for adults, 2 euros for children aged 6 to 16).
For walkers, a path has been designed which runs around the body of water (one kilometer long). From the base, larger hiking trails are obviously possible in a green and wooded countryside…
